6. Missing Point of View We found that the people’s voice was not represented in most of the news broadcasts we found, along with the news articles. The women and men on Medicare and the doctor’s that provide the daily care are the ones that’s point of view on the health care public option were the most ignored.
7. If Aliens were to view Fox News Death Panels? Stupid Humans Aliens would conclude that the American people are petty and willing to prioritize the lives of others rather than pay for their health care. Especially after they see the Fox news media talk about death panels in their broadcasts.
8. An example of what Aliens would get from Fox News Stupid Fox News
9. Did Mode Affect Quality? Yes The way that the NPR presented their news broadcast was much more efficient and fact based than the television news. Televised news seemed more of a production than a news broadcast. The televised news is more concerned with making it interesting than getting out the facts
10. What Rachel and Staci Think After researching the news broadcast clips, reading news articles and listening to public radio we found that we need to be more perceptive of the news we are being given. We found that not all news is fact and the way the news is presented can be all the bias someone needs to be led in one direction. We found there are pros and cons to health care reform but in the mainstream media the cons are more popular for media broadcasts than the pros. We will be more careful in the future as to which news channels we watch to get our information.
