Public Relations (PR) is the act of dealing with the stream of data between an
individual or an organization and people in general
The point of Public Relations by organization regularly is to convince the general
population, speculators, accomplices, workers and different partners to keep up
a specific perspective about it, it’s leadership, items, or of political choice
DEFINITION
"Public relations is an arranged procedure to impact general feeling, through
sound character and legitimate execution, in light of commonly acceptable two-
way communication”
5 STEPS TO DEVELOP A CRISIS
COMMUNICATION PLAN
STEP 1: ESTABLISH A TEAM
• Administration
• Legitimate
• Tasks
• Work relations
• Division heads affected by crisis
• P R (internal and external)
STEP 2: IDENTIFY AND PREPARE
SPOKESPEOPLE
• Media preparing
• Convey key messages
• Block and bridge
• Solace with camera
• Never say "No remark"
• Online representative/community manager
STEP 3: DEVELOP PROCESSES AND
PROTOCOLS
• Levels of leadership
• Endorsement forms
• On the off chance that a reporter "scoops" story - whats the proper reaction?
• By what means will you react if a crisis has all the earmarks of being
blending on the web?
STEP 4: DEVELOP PROCESSES AND
PROTOCOLS
• Mass media is strong. How we get through the tools decides the victory
• Who is telling what? and where?
• Free web monitoring tools:
• Google alert
• Blogplus.com etc
STEP 5: ROLE PLAY
• Think into potential crisis situation
• Develop response template
• Conduct crisis “drills”
