2. Introduction
 A paper battery is an energy storage device.
 It is used as a battery and also as a good
capacitors.
 It is formed by combining two things which are
carbon nanotubes and the cellulose based
paper.

3. Definition of paper battery
 Paper Batteries are made using a combination of
nanotubes made from carbon and paper made from
cellulose
 The process to make paper batteries start with making
a cathode and anode from manganese dioxide and zinc.
 The nanotoubes made from carbon are then added.
 The electrolyte is an ion based liquid solution.

4. • A paper battery is a flexible, ultra-thin energy storage
and production device formed by combining carbon
nanotubes with a conventional sheet of cellulose-based
paper.
• A paper battery acts as a both high-energy battery and
super-capacitor, combining two components that are
separate in traditional electronics.

concept behind paper battery.
• Carbon nanotubes(CNTs; also known
as buckytubes) are allotropes of carbon
with a cylindrical nanostructure.

 Prone to tearing.

to use of procedures like electrolysis and laser
ablation.
 Should not be inhaled, as they can damage
lungs.

 Can be used to power smart tags.
 Can be used to power signal use medical
devices.
 Can be used to make items like gaming cards
interactive at very low cost.
