3. INTRODUCTION
• For today’s transportation professionals , traffic management, safety and
security initiatives are an increasing priority.
• State and local agencies are searching for solutions to improve mobility,
efficiency and safety of their operations for the driving public.
• Current transport facility is suffering with many issues.
Accident risk management
Traffic rule violation control
Traffic signal management
• RFID TECHNOLOGY can be effectively used to solve some of them
4. MAJOR COMPONENTS
• Some of the major components are using to
develop the projects
Power supply
Micro controller
RFID
GSM
5. POWER SUPPLY
• A power supply is a device that supplies electric power to an electrical
load.
• Basic power supplies can normally be divided into 4 parts.
The Transformer
The Rectifier
The Filter and in some circumstances
The Regulator
6. THE TRANSFORMER
• A transformer is an electrical device that transfers energy between two
circuits through electromagnetic induction.
• A transformer may be used as a safe and efficient voltage converter to
change the AC voltage at its input to a higher or lower voltage at its
output.
7. THE RECTIFIER
• A rectifier is an electrical device that converts alternating current (AC),
which periodically reverses direction, to direct current(DC), which flows in
only one direction. The process is known as rectification.
• A diode bridge is an arrangement of four diodes in a bridge
circuit configuration that provides the same polarity of output for either
polarity of input.
8. FILTERS
• Electronic filters are analog circuits which perform signal
processing functions, specifically to remove unwanted frequency
components from the signal, to enhance wanted ones, or both.
• TYPES
ACTIVE FILTER
PASSIVE FILTER
9. REGULATOR
• A voltage regulator is designed to automatically maintain a constant
voltage level. A voltage regulator may be a simple “Feed-forward" design
or may include negative feedback control loops.
• It may use an electromechanical mechanism, or electronic components.
Depending on the design, it may be used to regulate one or
more AC or DC voltages.
11. SPECIFICATIONS
•4 KB on chip program memory.
• 128 bytes on chip data memory(RAM).
• 4 register banks.
• 128 user defined software flags.
• 8-bit data bus
• 16-bit address bus
• 32 general purpose registers each of 8 bits
16 bit timers
• 3 internal and 2 external interrupts.
• Four 8-bit ports,
• 16-bit program counter and data pointer.
• 1 Microsecond instruction cycle with 12 MHz
Crystal.
12. RFID
• RFID stands for radio frequency identification
• radio-frequency electromagnetic fields to transfer data, for
the purposes of automatically identifying and tracking tags
attached to objects
• Frequency for RFID uses 433Mhz for short range devices
15. • GSM STANDS FOR GLOBAL SYSTEM FOR MOBILE
• GSM modem is a device that modulates an analog carrier
signal to encode digital information and demodulates the
signal to decode the transmitted information.
• The goal is to produce a signal that can be transmitted easily
and decoded to reproduce the original digital data.
• Modems can be used with any means of transmitting analog
signals, from light emitting diodes to radio
18. • Each and every RFID tag has a unique
identification.
• These RFID tags are attached to every vehicles
and one RFID reader is to fixed at one side of
the road near junction.
• If any vehicle crosses the signal then active
RFID tags are detected by RFID readers and
that vehicles information will be sent to
nearest control room through GSM modem
19. APPLICATIONS
• SOME MORE APPLICATINS BY USING RFID
TECHNOLOGY
Congestion detection & management scheme
intelligent traffic-light
Finding thieves and offenders
public parking
20. CONCLUSION
• In our country that is going to become an electronic
government to applicant this plan can have important effect
on electronic government and electronic city and optimize
traffic moneymen and country transportation system by
information and communication technology application
