38. Site Completeness
- The first version should focus on the most important and basic features of site
completeness that could be automatically tracked today (or relatively easily)
- For instance, we would like to get to a point where we know if a user changed each and
everyone of the default text and images on his site; however, we understand that it’s not
available today, so it will NOT be part of v1
- Although we will launch this experience first on my account, it will be even
more relevant/important on the editor side (similar to “site history”); for this
end, the design will take this vision in mind
- After considering the limitations above, taking inputs from several folks, and
checking competition, these are the suggested site completeness “steps” for V1:
- Select a template (= First Save)
- Activate Contact Form (= Need to know if the user has a contact form app, and whether it was “activated”)
- Activate Social Bar (= Need to know if the user has a social bar app, and whether it was “activated”)
- Publish (= First Publish)
- Connect Domain (= Domain was connected successfully)
- Add Mailbox (= Google Mailbox was added)
- Add Online Store (= Need to know if the user has an ecommerce App)
- Add Blog (= Need to know if the user has a blog App)
- Improve SEO (= Need to know if the user clicked or actually used the SEO Wizard at least once)
