1.2 Country Presentation: Country presentations by the participants from respective one were
useful to understand specific approach and methods in different countries in Asia. It was
seen that multinational companies are leading in SR activities in countries like Pakistan,
Thailand etc. Where as in India Social Activities’ are from Vedic ages. However it is felt that a
structured approach of ISO2600O standard would be of great help in integrating the SR
activities vis-à-vis business.
1.3 Presentation form World business Council: The information shared were quite a thought
provoking. The research study conducted by world economic forum and world business
council was presented and relevance to ISO26000 were well established. The presentation
backed up by data is found to useful and can be also a part of SR presentation to set the
perspective right.

definitely a rare occasion and time to listen to them, see their facility and interact with
them.

highly organised and professional.

fun and involvement of everyone. I must rate the program as excellent.

some time that SR Asia platform shall remain a networking point. Updating of SR activities

12. Executive Summary of the Training ISO 26000 by APO Japan, 8-12 Aug 2011
The detailed data with respective to the above initiatives is available on company website.
Program Outcome:
The program resulted into meaningful output. Involvement of everybody with the commitment that
each one will present and share the learning with at least one company back in their country was
one of them. Individual also see SR as a career too. Continuous support from APO was also
motivating. Form my own understating I find this a wonderful program, well organised and perfectly
delivered.
Suggestion to NPC India for New Initiatives:
I must thank NPC India for providing such a opportunity. Also I am thankful to the APO for final
consideration. It was a wonderful learning and eye opener to me.
Since NPC India has nominated me for this program I am able to see a great future in the area of
Social Responsibility (SR) for the professional and organisation to adopt SR for all good reasons. With
the global trends and perspectives a report published by world economic forum, SR is imperative
and thus NPC India should take it as one of the area to focus on. NPC can plan seminar in this area,
and I am willing to share.
I am prepared to share my knowledge and expertise in this domain. NPC being a nodal agency can
promote and disseminate SR knowledge to its stake holders including the client base it serves. I shall
be happy to associate with NPC to promote SR.
