4. Turtle
Turtles live in or near the water and have adapted
to swim by holding their breath underwater.
5. Octopus
They have many ways of defending themselves against predators,
including use of ink, the use of camouflage, their ability to jet quickly
through the water, and their ability to hide.
6. Beaver
Beavers are known for their natural trait of building dams
on rivers and streams, and building their homes (known as
"lodges") in the resulting pond.
7. Frog
Frogs lay their eggs in water. The eggs hatch into tadpoles
that have tails and gills. The lifecycle is completed when
they grow into adult frogs.
8. Sea lion
Sea lions, seals and walrus, are pinnipeds, which means "fin footed“.
They have an average life span of 20–30 years. The largest sea lion is
the Steller's sea lion which can weigh 1,000 kg and grow to a length of
10 ft.
9. Crab
They live in all the world's oceans, in fresh water, and on
land, are generally covered with a thick exoskeleton and
have a single pair of claws.
10. Stingray
Stingrays are related to sharks. Most stingrays have
one or more barbed stingers on the tail, which are
used in self-defense.
