The City Attorney’s Office Investigation The San Diego City Attorney’s Office is undertaking an investigation into alleged overcharging by two demolition contractors hired by the City of San Diego to clear land of victims of the wildfires in 2007. The Attorney’s Office is seeking to speak to individuals who were victims of the wildfires and who have hired contractors – either through the City program or a private demolition contractor – to talk about their experience.
