2. [1 John 4:7-12] Beloved, let us love one another, for love is
from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and
knows God. [8] Anyone who does not love does not know
God, because God is love. [9] In this the love of God was
made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into
the world, so that we might live through him. [10] In this
is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us
and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
3. [11] Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one
another. [12] No one has ever seen God; if we love one
another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.

Ephesians 4:30-32 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of
God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
[31] Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor
and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.
[32] Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one
another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Colossians 1:19-20 For in him all the fullness of God was
pleased to dwell, [20] and through him to reconcile to
himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making
peace by the blood of his cross.
13. B. “No one has ever seen God”
John 1:16-18 For from his fullness we have all received,
grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses;
grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has
ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side,
he has made him known.
14. C. “…if we love one another, God abides in us and his
love is perfected in us.”
John 15:4, 12-14 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch
cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine,
neither can you, unless you abide in me. This is my
commandment, that you love one another as I have loved
you. [13] Greater love has no one than this, that someone
lay down his life for his friends. [14] You are my friends if
you do what I command you.
15. C. “…if we love one another, God abides in us and his
love is perfected (completed) in us.”
John 17:22-23 The glory that you have given me I have
given to them, that they may be one even as we are one,
[23] I in them and you in me, that they may become
perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent
me and loved them even as you loved me.
