Reed Cagle is a local businessman in the Colorado Springs area with nearly three decades of experience in the oil and gas industry. Reed Cagle started Heartland Energy, Inc., in 1997. The company, known today as HEI Resources, Inc., develops partnerships with sophisticated individuals to develop and operate oil, gas, and mining projects through relationships with operators, drilling contractors, geophysicists, engineers, and variety of other industry professionals. In addition to his work in the oil and gas industry, Reed Cagle is also a philanthropist and an avid outdoorsman. He donates to multiple charitable causes and has founded his own non-profit, Outreachers.
