My recent most addicted book is “THE PONNIYIN SELVAN” wrote
by the great author “KALKI”. And now its established as Movie directed
by the legend “Manirathnam”. Its great historical based story for Tamil
literature. Throughout the book the author narrates the story was very
nice. This book has 5 parts, with 5 parts written as two volumes. While I
was reading, I travelled with all characters I became one among them.
The way the author narrate the story from beginning to end was amazing.
Every chapter gives curiosity to read another chapter.
The way he explain the women’s characters and nature scenarios
are adds the beauty to his story. The very strong characters given to the
all females. I feel, I was lived in that golden cholas period. it was great
book which I read. I started reading very slowly, it takes more days but,
those days I feel lived in that story. Every characters are very special,
especially vanthiyadevan, kundavai, arulmozhivarman, aadhitha
karikalan, Nandhini, sundra cholan, samuthira kumaari, poonguzali,
aazvarkadiyan, etc.
There are a lot of twists and turns that keeps the reader gripped. But
the problem with the first part is that it has multiple characters which
maybe a little confusing. It'll take some time to remember every character
and their characteristics, habits. This novel describes bravery, honesty,
romance, friendship, suspense everything. This novel is addiction for who
are all read, will increase your thirst to know more and more about the
Chola dynasty. I am recommending this book to all the readers because
this is one of such books which had and having an enormous number of
reads. I advise the readers to buy the copy which has illustrations which
make the read more interesting.
