DCC COAR and IASSIST collaboration on the workshop at OR. Useful discussion in an opening workshop at Repository Fringe ‘Getting to the Repository of the Future’ too where we considered what needs to be done over the next 2, 5 and 10 years. There were lots of suggestions of what needs to be done and Chris Awre closed by considering what the barriers are that prevent repositories from doing this, picking up on resourcing issues, skills agendas and advocacy. We’ll hopefully pick up on some of those things.
