Welcome to Marvelous Magenta Coaching! In this 6-minute presentation we are going to cover what coaching IS and IS NOT, what the process typically looks like, and how YOU can get the most out of our coaching partnership.
Coaching is “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential”. A key word here is “partnering.” As this quote suggests, coaching is a SYNERGISTIC process, Your coach will work with you to explore important issues and challenges in order to to achieve your desired outcome.
What are some benefits of coaching? Coaching helps people reach deeper levels of fulfillment and higher levels of success FASTER, more EASILY, and more ENJOYABLY, than they might on their own. Also, through collaboration with a coach, clients will learn skills that will help them address future challenges and transitions more confidently and successfully.“Again, the emphasis here is on working together. Your coach will support you in a constructive, compassionate way to achieve more than you might on your own.”
What are some typical coaching topics?: Dealing with Transition,Unemployment, Business problems, Stress and anxiety,Lack of enthusiasm for life, Relationship/family dynamics, finding your authentic vocation, or Negative habits or self-defeating behaviors. “These are some examples of areas where clients might seek coaching help. Many times people just want to feel more alive, live their life more purposefully or healthfully, “reinvent” themselves. The important thing is to find a coach that you feel comfortable with to walk with you on YOUR particular path”.
A coaching relationship is different in its focus from some other types of helping professions. Coaching does not conflict with, or take the place of these other professions. In fact, many times they are complimentary. For example, a consultant provides industry-area expertise and is hired to solve problems FOR a client. Your coach will help develop YOU to solve a problem or achieve a goal . We are trained in coaching skills to support clients to obtain results. .
