Jesus returned to the Mount of Olives,
but early the next morning he was back again at the Temple.
A crowd soon gathered, and he sat down and taught them.
As he was speaking, the teachers of religious law and
Pharisees brought a woman they had caught in the act of
adultery. They put her in front of the crowd. "Teacher," they
said to Jesus, "this woman was caught in the very act of
adultery. The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you
say?" They were trying to trap him into saying something
they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and
wrote in the dust with his finger.

They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and
said, "All right, stone her. But let those who have never sinned
throw the first stones!"
Then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust. When
the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one,
beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the
middle of the crowd with the woman. Then Jesus stood up
again and said to her, "Where are your accusers? Didn't even
one of them condemn you?"
"No, Lord," she said. And Jesus said, "Neither do I. Go and
sin no more."

than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin.

He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God
rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time.

5. Sin will never satisfy! In the end, the
happiness becomes sadness, the thrill
becomes a nightmare, the pleasure
becomes an addiction. Sin never keeps
its promises.

7. Greed cannot be satisfied by
possessions; drug addiction cannot be
satisfied with a great high; lust cannot be
satisfied with a one-night stand; pride
cannot be satisfied with promotion and
fame.

It is easy to step into it but so
hard to step out of it!

JOY is the most perfect sign of the presence
of God.” Sin drive that presence away!

money in the world cannot buy-
joy.

Sin steals all purity and innocence,
making us uneasy with people and
uncomfortable with God.

food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining
wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her
husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of
both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked;
so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for
themselves. Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the
LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the

mouth of the LORD has spoken.

Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not
soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed
in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes
will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot
out his name from the book of life, but will

When you sin, you wound your Savior and spit
in His face, making a mockery of His love and
denying your very words of devotion and praise.
Your sin stings JESUS!Our disobedience
causes Him grief (Genesis 6:6; Luke 19:41-44)

The fact is, if you keep on sinning, it
will haunt you and hunt you until it
hurts you.

The path of the righteous is like the first
gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till
the full light of day.
But the way of the wicked is like deep
darkness; they do not know what makes
them stumble.

26. Galatians 6:7-9 (NLT)
Don't be misled. Remember that you can't ignore God
and get away with it. You will always reap what you
sow!
Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful desires
will harvest the consequences of decay and death. But
those who live to please the Spirit will harvest
everlasting life from the Spirit.
So don't get tired of doing what is good. Don't get
discouraged and give up, for we will reap a harvest of
blessing at the appropriate time.

The sin that is in one man’s heart is able to
infect a whole world, it is of such a spreading
and infectious nature.
No one is an island when it comes to sin. Your
sin can affect your family and all those who are
attached to you.

Look after each other so that none of you
will miss out on the special favor of God.
Watch out that no bitter root of unbelief
rises up among you, for whenever it
springs up, many are corrupted by its
poison.

When we sin, we join forces with hell and become
accomplices of the devil.
“If you belonged to the world, it would love
you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the
world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That
is why the world hates you.” - John 15:19

But when people keep on sinning, it shows they belong
to the Devil, who has been sinning since the beginning.
But the Son of God came to destroy these works of the
Devil.
Those who have been born into God's family do not sin,
because God's life is in them. So they can't keep on
sinning, because they have been born of God. So now
we can tell who are children of God and who are
children of the Devil. Anyone who does not obey
God's commands and does not love other
Christians does not belong to God.

and overtake you:

the country.

carefully follow all his commands I give you
today, the LORD your God will set you high
above all the nations on earth. All these
blessings will come upon you and accompany
you if you obey the LORD your God: You will
