We are delighted to have Michael Ovadenko as a guest of honour. He was the founder of Coffee Heaven which was sold to Costa in 2009.
For the past 10 years Michael has worked as a retail consultant working with many well known retail companies in Poland and Central Europe as well as companies looking to enter the market and develop their retail businesses specifically in the food and hospitality space.
Prior to this Michael was a Founder and Managing Director of Coffee Heaven - a chain of award winning coffeehouses that became a market leader in Poland and CEE. In 2001 they listed on AIM (LSE) and further expanded developing their branch network in the region. Coffee Heaven was later acquired by Costa Coffee in 2009.
Michael holds a BS degree in Business Administration from Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis and holds the MBA degree from Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
