The world is full of information Image Credit
Our reality, just a small distorted slice Image Credit
So what's different about AR? Image Credit
I have a long list of what AR is NOT! Image Credit
And AR is not just about Points! Image Credit
AR is Digital Sensory Perception Image Credit
Sharing information in new ways Image Credit
Our senses spot interesting patterns Image Credit
Identify things that are important Image Credit
We can sense what's happening Image Credit
Even project them into the future Image Credit
This triggers new thoughts & actions Image Credit
Dynamic & amazing interactions Image Credit
But a flood of new sensors is coming Image Credit
The camera is leading the way Image Credit
Now we are all live sensor streams Image Credit
The existing web browser model Image Credit

  30. 30. Oh yeah! Like what? If the GPS lat/lon on my phone is outside my office location then load the addresses for my next few meetings and display them as Points of Interest. If the time is between 8am & 9am and the GPS lat/lon on my phone is approaching my office then display my schedule for the day on my phone. If the GPS lat/lon on my phone is beyond 100km away from my home and/or wife's GPS lat/lon then load a persistent compass that shows where home is. Plus lots more involving proximity sensors, accelerometers, multi-camera vision, GPSes, compasses...many more dynamic new ideas that nobody has even thought of yet...
