This document proposes developing visual logos for each of Riga's 58 neighborhoods in Latvia. It notes that while Latvian towns each have their own "logo", Riga's neighborhoods currently only have verbal brands that are not universally known or visually distinctive. The document envisions crowdsourcing logo designs among residents and developing them according to visual guidelines tied to Riga. This would help neighborhoods focus their identities while uniting diverse groups. As an example, it shows how Tokyo, London, and Siena visually brand their districts. The first step proposed is assigning 2-letter codes to each neighborhood as unique visual identifiers.
