Deal with sentence by sentence Karen is being very Selective in her use of facts when she says that the Conservatives do badly in all areas of the country . Evidence to support this is in Source 1, as the conservatives do well coming second place for seats in UK elections, They get the biggest percent of votes in England and Wales, although they do not do well in Scotland.
She is being quite Selective when she says that the Lib Dems are the only party whose support has increased amongst different age groups. Yes the Lib Dems are the only party to increase their vote in ALL age groups in Source 3, but the Conservatives have increased the share of their vote in the 35 and over age groups.
She is being slightly Selective when she says that the Lib Dems are the only party whose support has increased within different social classes. Source 2 does show that the support for the Lib Dems from each social class has increased. However support for Labour has increased from the middle classes and for Conservatives from the working social classes. Overall Karen is being very selective in her use of facts because no one source fully agrees with her views.
