Some Suggested Solutions
• When procuring online e-book resources, accessibility
is essential. It is not enough to trust a generic
statement about accessibility from the supplier. Ask for
case studies and evidence.
• Staff = Costs, it is cheaper to procure an iPad mini and
a digital copy of a e-book
• ePub3 format has accessibility options of DAISY
• Encourage publishers to adopt standard terms &
conditions when requesting books
