4. CTCL NCCN Guidelines
Conclusions about NCCN Guidelines on
CTCL Treatment Practices
• Fewer than half of physicians treating patients with CTCL are aware of
recent revisions to NCCN guidelines concerning CTCL management
– Dermatologists are the most aware of these revisions
• If aware of the guideline revisions, the majority state their treatment
practices are now in alignment with the current NCCN guidelines
• Dermatologists are more likely to have changed treatment practices
before the guideline revisions are published
• Hematological oncologists are twice as likely to actually change their
treatment practices due to guideline revisions
