• in person at the Voter Registration Office in the Johnson

4. Acceptable Photo ID Guidelines
Photo IDs have 4 requirements. They must:
• display your photo
• display your name, which must conform to your voter registration
information
• it need not be identical, for instance can say “Bob” instead of “Robert”
• display an expiration date & be current or have expired sometime
after the date of the last General Election (November 6, 2012)
• be issued by the State of Indiana or the U.S. Government
IN driver licenses, IN photo ID cards, military ID cards, U.S. Passports,
and IU student ID cards are usually sufficient (not private school IDs)

5. On Election Day: Tuesday, November 4th
• Polls will be open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm local time
• You must bring an acceptable photo ID
• You have the right to cast a provisional ballot if your
eligibility is challenged
• If you have a temporary or permanent disability, you may
be assisted in the voting booth if you request assistance
before entering the booth
• Assistance/service animals are allowed in all voting
buildings
