4. Ballymun Regeneration Limited (BRL)
1997 Renewal project for Ballymun
• Ballymun flats demolished and replaced with 5000 new
well-built, modern homes
• Community buildings, childcare facilities and parks
• Town centre with commercial activity (banks/offices /
leisure facilities)
• Job opportunities created e.g. IKEA
• Develop transport services
• Involve the community
• Improve safety / security
