See our company page: https://www.linkedin.com/company/pathwaygroup Funding Statements 2016 to 2017 Information • Shortly the SFA will issue 2016 to 2017 funding statements, which will set out your allocations for the following: • Adult Education Budget (including Community Learning and Discretionary Learner Support) • Adult apprenticeships • 16 to 18 apprenticeships and SFA-funded traineeships • Loans facility • Loans bursary • Apprenticeship Grant for Employers • For further information, please contact your Central Delivery Service adviser.

Apprenticeship Reforms: Withdrawal of Frameworks • As part of the apprenticeship reform programme, the SFA have published a list of seven apprenticeship frameworks that they will withdraw • These frameworks will close to new apprenticeship starts from 1 June 2016. • The Impact of this should be low • These frameworks had no apprenticeship starts reported in the 2014 to 2015 or in the 2015 to 2016 funding year to date. • This will not affect those apprentices currently completing their apprenticeship on these frameworks

See our company page: https://www.linkedin.com/company/pathwaygroup Institute for Apprenticeships (IfA) • Rachel Sandby-Thomas has been appointed to the role of shadow chief executive • Her most recent role was as director general for skills, deregulation and local growth at BIS. • She will take up the new role from April 4th, and Jaee Samant will be temporarily promoted to the role of director general for skills, deregulation and local growth. • Over the next year the IfA will be working to ensure the organisation is ready to launch in April 2017, ensuring quality apprenticeships that meet the needs of businesses.” • The IfA will help police employers as apprenticeship reforms take effect
