Safe Road Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation (NGO) registered under Indian Trust Act 1882, 12A and 80G (5)(vi) of the Income Tax Act 1961. The Safe Road Foundation was conceived of 5 years of Comparative Study of Traffic Management and Road Safety Standards Processes, and Infrastructure between UK and India. The study concluded that India needs a structured and planned approached towards road safety. The NGO is supported by eminent citizens like Advocates, Teachers, Scholars, Lecturers, Programmers, Citizens, Media persons, Documentary Film makers, Charted Accountants, Social activists.
