18. Sterilization of SLNs
For parentral & ocular administration SLNs must be
sterile.
For lecithin stabilized SLNs autoclaving is possible & it is
not possible for sterically stabilized polymers.
Physical stability during autoclave can not be stated, it
depends on composition.
SLN dispersion can also be sterilized by filtration
