Cooperation
Goal-driven with the
intent of achieving an
outcome by connecting
with diverse minds.
Diverse minds coming
together to co-create an
artifact that could not
have been effectively
created by an individual.
Ongoing discussions and
exchanges that facilitate
immediate sharing of knowledge
– tacit and explicit – and also
creation of new knowledge.
Conveying information to
selected individuals or wider
community to create an
environment of ambient
awareness.
Sharing information,
knowledge and learning
without a defined
outcome in mind, in the
spirit of generosity and
transparency.

14. Tips on Some Tools
Most useful when engaged in
the activity -- it can be a
project, a subject / skill /
topic one is trying to master,
or a client challenge
Most useful when the
learning has been given
some time to crystallize so
that the sharing is more
cohesive and holistic.
Because it allows easy
uploading of videos, images
and text updates, Facebook
can be used for any kind of
#wol.
For team level sharing, there
can be private groups.
For broader community
building, one can have open
groups.
It is more suited for sharing
of well-thought out ideas in a
visual format.
Since SlideShare users
can Like, Share and
download the presentations,
it is best to make each
presentation complete in
itself.
When you have a collection
of images (either created or
curated) that can be grouped
into topics, Pinterest comes
in handy.
16. “What am I trying to do?”
“Who can help me?”
“How can I contribute to
deepen our relationships?”
How to Go About it?
17. Building the Habit…
Make a daily
contribution
Start with
one tiny
habit at a
time
Be
authentic in
all
interactions
Be generous
with sharing
Keep an eye
on the goal
Spread the
learning
