Research shows that when Nurses feel a lack of concern for their welfare from Managers, that reporting of incidents were reduced
Improvement in the environment can increase the level of reporting, which requires initiative- driven by leadership.. Managers can use this information collected from the reports to determine where initiatives need to be implemented in order to improve the quality of outcomes etc..
