Danielle We have chosen to do horror for our genre with the sub genre being thriller and to help classify the genre we have used Nick Lacey’s repertoire of elements. We combined parts of horror and also parts of thriller into the table which would most likely be appropriate for our film.
Becca To be able to rate our film at 15 we need to make sure that through the whole film there is no discriminatory language or behaviour, if drugs are being shown they cant be shown in a way to promote them, violence is allowed but it can’t be sexualised or brutal, dangerous behaviour such as hanging and suicide should not dwell on detail, strong language can be frequent but the strongest terms may be used but in correct context, nudity is allowed in a sexual content but not in detail, sexual activity cant be shown in detail, violence may be strong but should not dwell on the infliction of pain or injury.
Emma Brittany was in prom night as the main character and our film was inspired from that film.
Danielle He was the corrupt policeman in the Saw films and the character plays a corrupt police man and so Costas would be used to playing the part.
Becca
Emma We choose Meghan fox because she's pretty and a well known and guys are more likely to watch if she's in the film.
Danielle
Becca We have used Syd Fields theory of Narrative for our film with 3 acts and 2 plot points.
