Implementation of an SAP system to take over the existing business processes is a complicated procedure which
requires careful handling of data, deep understanding of multi-faceted operations and technological know-how.
It includes the adaptation of existing procedures to a new system as well as educating all the stakeholders involved
and hence can prove to be a time and effort consuming process which can be prone to errors.
ASAP or Accelerated SAP is widely regarded as the preferred template to be followed for smooth SAP
implementation ensuring the optimal time and resource utilization with minimal errors and lags. It is a 5 stage
process as listed here:

Post implementation it is critical to maintain the SAP system through a support mechanism that delivers
prompt and accurate troubleshooting solutions in order to lose minimum amount of time without
compromising on operational efficiencies.
For this purpose Tapas follows a simple, effective and tested 5 step methodology that ensures minimal
time wastage through a quick decision making protocol, continuous user interaction and optimal
resource allocation.
• Users can raise a call on Tapas' Dedicated Helpdesk Portal by uploading text
as well as issue related screen-shots for better representation of the same
• The SAP Consultant on case decides if the issue can be resolved or more
information is required pre-resolution
• If the issue related information at hand is sufficient the consultant proceeds
to resolve the issue
• If more information is required, the consultant communicates with the user
using the "Discussion Forum" facility.
• Upon Resolution, a mail apprising the same is sent to the User as well as
the Support Team Head
• A portal notification is made indicating succesful resolution of the specific
issue
*SLAs and further escalations can be configured based on individual customer
requirements
• Issue raised with the Support Team Head
• Support Team Head in turn assigns the issue to the appropriate SAP consultant
