 Coagulation can be easily achieved with the help of a
coagulant. In raw water, inorganic salts of Aluminium
or Iron can be added, these salts neutralizes the charge
on the particles that are responsible for the raw water
turbidity.
 After adding coagulant water is transferred to,
Flocculation Basin, particles take the form of large
particles. After employing the flocculation process, the
coagulated particles form a large agglomeration, which
is also known as floc.
