Developing Firmware for Video Codecs in mobile platforms/devices. Gaining understanding of the Mobile Application processors, their architecture and the hardware aspects of a Codec. Also working on the Color Image processing for video sequences. Masters Thesis work involved enhancement of Rate Control strategies in H.264 aiding ROI encoding in video frames. Research involved study of the H.264 codec and understanding of its Rate Control module.
