- Affirmations
The verbs in the simple past consist of particle ED at
the end, and for that, you must follow some rules:
- Verbs ending in E has only earn D: dance=danced
- Verbs ending in a consonant + y, lose and gain IED
Y: = Studied study.
- Verbs ending in a vowel + y, just make ED: play =
played.
- Verbs ending in consonant + vowel + consonant,
double the last consonant and earn ED: stop =
