2. First of all, you must go out and collect/catch fish.
3. Preparation
Must prepare the area where you wish to
dissect the fish.
Get all the equipment ready and clean before
beginning.
You will need a knife, scalpel, chopping
board, tweezers and scissors.
Some people may also want
gloves/protection for hands and clothes.
4. Process of Dissection
First of all, you need to cut the fish at the neck. It is
important that you do not fully cut the neck or else
there will be a lot of blood.
Once the neck is cut, you slit right down the middle
of the fish’ body.
5. You must ensure that you do not cut too deeply into
the body or else you will destroy the fish’ organs.
You can cut down the fish using a knife or a scissors.
When you have slit the fish fully, down to the
gill, then you can remove the organs and get a closer
look inside the fish.
6. Remove the organs using the knife, scalpel or
tweezers.
7. When you have removed the organs, you can identify
them and learn about all the different types of organs
and their function.
8. Dissecting the fish yourself allows you to explore all
the different parts of the fish in such a detailed
fashion.

9. Dissecting a fish is a great way to learn about the
anatomy of the fish in-depth and how its internal
body works.
