The National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) is a non-profit organization established in 1982 to promote nature conservation in Nepal. It works in three geographical areas of Nepal: the lowlands, mid-hills, and high mountains. NTNC manages several protected areas including Chitwan National Park, Annapurna Conservation Area Project, and Central Zoo. It implements projects related to biodiversity conservation, sustainable tourism, alternative energy, community development, and more. NTNC's mission is to balance human needs with environmental conservation on a sustainable basis through community participation. It is a trusted partner of the Nepali government and international organizations for nature conservation.
