Sylvester is a Professor in Game Science, based at Coventry University’s Disruptive Media Learning Lab (DMLL.org.uk), UK. He was previously a Reader and Senior Research Fellow at the DMLL, Senior Researcher at the Serious Games Institute, a Research Fellow at Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG), University of Warwick and a lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak. His research interests include the application and impact of play and games science (playful learning, serious games, gamification, game design thinking) in teaching and learning.
