The Fashion Theory
Fashion is always changing, slightly elusive,
extremely seductive. It has the power to
transform an image and make a social statement.
 Fashion is the science of architecture. To some, fashion is an
art form. To others, it is almost a religion. To express
yourself, to serve as an extension of your
personality. Fashion statements can be made with clothes,
accessories, shoes, hair,
makeup, even your cell phone.
Designers can greatly influence what direction fashion will go
in. Fashion shows presents designer collections; Celebrities
and other opinion leaders (socialites and other glitterati)
are usually the first to sport new looks, spurring the buying
public into accepting emerging trends. So everyone from
big-name designers to celebrities may be behind
influencing the direction fashion will go in.
Ultimately, it is you, the consumer, who will decide what is
"in" when
you choose whether or not to buy into a trend.
 The term refers to the ethnic clothing that is typically worn by individuals in
the country of Pakistan and by the People of Pakistani descent. Pakistani clothes
express the Culture of Pakistan, the Demographics of Pakistan and regional
Cultures
which include Punjabi Culture, Sindhi Culture, Balochi Culture, Pashtun Culture
and Kashmiri Culture. Dresses in each regional culture reflect weather conditions,
way of living and distinctive style which gives it a unique identity among all
cultures. Pakistani dressing and culture is a part of Islamic Culture which is
reflected in the dresses of Pakistani men and women. With the passage of time
Pakistanis are adapting modern dresses and cultural clothing, especially in big
cities.
The Shalwar Kameez is the national dress of Pakistan and is worn by men and
women in different areas in different styles, colors and designs especially the front
part of Kameez is decorated with different styles and designs of embroidery.
Dupatta is an essential part of Shalwar Kameez and considered a symbol of
woman's respect.
With the passage of time Pakistani women has started to adapt new styles some
of which are the combination of Pakistani and Western clothing. Like women wear
Embroider Kurta with Jeans and Trousers. Tight half sleeve and without sleeve
shirts with Capri trousers have also being adopted. Most popular in modern
dresses is Pakistani A-Line Frock.
 Pakistani fashion industry is introducing Pakistani
traditional dresses all over the world as cultural
representatives and becoming a reason to
introduce international trends in Pakistan.
 Pakistani media, Film Industry and Internet has
the biggest role in promoting fashion in Pakistan.
There are a lot of TV
Channels, Magazines and websites which are
working only for fashion industry. Despite of the
religious boundaries Pakistani Fashion Industry
has become recognized all over the world through
its models, designers, stylists and fashion shows.
 By women's religious clothing we mean the
dressing in which they try to cover all their
body parts except face and hands while going
outside from their home. Mostly women cover
their heads with Dupatta or Chadar in
outdoors but religious women prefer to
wear Scarf, Burqa or Hijab and wear lose, long
and full sleeve shirts.

 2001 to 2007
 General Pervez
Musharaf
 Pakistani fashion brands are incredible and
internationally famous for their outstanding work
and designs. These Pakistani fashion brands not
only show their designing philosophy in a brilliant
way but also put all the traditional and customary
elements in their outfits in a very creative manner.
 Their outfits are not traditional and cultural but
also have so many modern western lines and
techniques that make them more catchy and
wearable.
 The color combination, patterns and
embellishments in the outfits of these artistic
Pakistani fashion brands are awesome and simply
jazzy.
