2nd June 2012, Kuala Lumpur: Satya Paul, India’s premier designer label will unveil its
designs with the launch of its exclusive retail outlet in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The swanky and stylish Satya Paul store, located at Plaza Damas 3 , with great visibility of
the Malaysian King’s new Palace, will be operational in June’2012. Situated on the ground
floor, the store comprises 1,200 square feet of selling space with 550 square feet for
mezzanine. It carries the complete range of Satya Paul products including saris in vibrant
crepes, chiffons and georgettes with Satya Paul signature designs, tunics/kaftans, scarves, ties
and much more.
To celebrate the new launch, the brand plans to put together an evening full of glitz and
fashion, where Luna, one of the 10 best sky bars in the world will provide a unique dining
experience for all attendees on June 2nd. The fashion show choreographed by Ms. Anu Ahuja
will be a part of the gala event.The evening will begin with a warm welcome, over cocktails
and hors d’oeuvres, followed by the showing of the much awaited collection. The event will
be attended by the well known faces of Malaysia – Gabriella Robinson, former Miss
Malaysia and reigning Miss Tourism International 2012 and Ning Baizura, famous singer and
actress. There will be a live performance by The AkashA, a well known east-west fusion
band. The evening will leave no stone unturned in encapsulating the grandeur, elegance and
magnificence that this collection promises to be.

2. About the collection
An amalgamation of traditional Indian with contemporary styling forms the core of this
alluring collection. The wide-ranging collection varied from 9-yard sarees, lehengas and
anarkalis. The collection even includes evening cocktail saris, tunics and dresses. Each piece
is crafted with special care and attention to detail.
Perfecting the mood of this spring summer collection, the spotlight has been set on exuberant
shades with bright and lively colours. A gamut of bold and delicate textures, shy and joyous
colors, this line is very playful.
The attendees will witness Satya Paul classic black and white shades with hint of bright
colours and bold patterns in conjunction with sparkly stones as the brand looks to the glitz of
night.
