• There are five food groups, these are;
• Carbohydrates
• Fruit and vegetables
• Proteins
• Dairy
• Fats and sugars

GROUP 1:GRAINS
Cereals give us energy and contain fibre and others important nutrients.
Cereals give us energy.
Some cereal contain GLUTEN. Gluten is a protein.
Some people can’t eat gluten. They have CELIAC DESEASE.
There is not gluten in rice and corn

Vegetables contain: vitamins and minerals.
