1. Bucharest
-Things to Visit-
Bucharest is the main city of Romania. Situated in
the south-east of the country, Bucharest looks both like a
modern crowded city and a romantic historical one.
The most beautiful building, in my opinion, is the House
of People, with an impressive total of 1000 rooms (!!!).
It really looks awesome! It is the biggest administrative
building in Europe.
2. Another place to visit in Bucharest is the Arch of
Triumph, which is actually a copy of the one in Paris.
The Romanian Athenaeum is the host of the famous
George Enescu Festival ( GeorgeEnescu, is the most popular
Romanian composer, like your Isaac Albeniz!)
3. There are also a lot of museums, such asThe GrigoreAntipa
National Museum of Natural History, the National Art
Museum, the Romanian History Museum and the Museum
ofthe Romanian Peasant. Every year, many interesting
exhibitions are held in these museums.
4. There are also nice and green parks in which you can
take a deep breath and relax. In Bucharest, we have special
bicycle riding spaces and huge walking areas where cars are
not allowed. I think that the nicest parks are Cismigiu Park
and Herastrau Park.
You can’t say that Bucharest is an old city, because there
are many modern art monuments and sparkling glass
buildings.
After a tiring monument hunt, you can go shopping in
one of our malls or have a pizza.
5. Visit Bucharest and you’ll have a great time. I’m sure
that you will enjoy seeing it.
