2. What is the ? Student organization on campus Engages students in pro-bono non-profit consulting Subjects include marketing, fundraising and capital allocation, information technology, organization strategy, and operational management
3. Executive Board President: Representative of SCNO, the inlet for non-profits and networks to learn about what SCNO offers Vice President of Operations: Oversees project managers and runs all operations in SCNO
4. Director of Community Development: Markets SCNO to non-profit organizations and other contacts outside the University of Houston Director of Human Resources: Oversees disciplinary actions, recruiting and maintaining applicants information, and compiles statistic data
5. Director of Financial Support: Handles donations, archiving records, monthly financial reports presented to the executive board. Director of Administration: records minutes at meetings, handles all newsletters (email & snail mail). Obtains rooms for meetings, stationary or supplies for the SCNO, keep all record of changes to constitution updated
6. How are officers elected? Officers will not be elected! They will be appointed by the current “eboard” Terms of 2 years at most are allowed, giving other students the opportunity to experience the eboard
7. Project Managers? Project managers will oversee anywhere from 1-2 teams making sure that student needs and issues are handled Teams of 4-8 students will focus on a single project Depth of projects will determine how many can be taken on during a semester
8. Officer Requirements? At least a junior classification at the University of Houston. 1 semester minimum of active membership status (participate as a team member or project manager with paid dues) having completed one cycle (project) successfully.
