A Triskelion or Triskele is a motif consisting of a triple spiral. the spiral
design can be based on interlocking archimedean spirals or represents
three bent human legs. both are from greek.
It a characteristic part of the celtic culture, the triskelion represents
evolution and growth, the balance between body, mind and spirit.
Among the druids it symbolized learning, and the trinity past , present and
future.
According to this culture, it was used as talisman, druids thought that the
triskelion could to relieve fevers and heal wounds

The triquetra is a symbol that represents the female divinity and its origin is
Indo-European.
It also symbolizes life, death and rebirth (life, death and reincarnation for
celts) it has been found in celtic steale, in vikings runes and in roman pots
and vessels (believed to have been made by celtic slaves).
Throughout history it has assumed many meanings as the triple dimension of
equality eternity and indivisibility. It also expresses philosophy according to
