2. What I Learned
One of the first things that I
learned in the class, was how to
properly write and submit
a complaint letter, as
we did for our Writing
Assignment 1.
Complaint
letter

3. What I Learned Ctd.
Writing a complaint letter, as well
as any correspondence to any
professional, should be persuasive,
but should have a tone (Ch.4) that
Does not turn the reader off of the
purpose of the
document.
4. What I Learned Ctd.
I also learned about writing for a
specific audience. It is clearly
important that the people reading
my documents feel that they are
intended specifically for them to
read.
5. How I Learned
Writing the complaint letter for
Writing Assignment 1, as well as the
topic for Writing
Assignment 2
helped me to
properly write
to a target
audience but in
a professional
manner.
Professionalism is key to any great
career.

6. How I Learned
Writing Assignment 2 helped me to
learn about writing correctly to
the specific audience. Sending
book recommendations to an on-
campus organization proved very
useful!
7. Why is it important?
Knowing how to properly write in the
professional world is significant
because, to some people, it could
prove your competency.
8. Why is it Important? Ctd.
The things I learned doing these
assignments are also important
because they can be used to
impress superiors in the future,
and also to prove myself in the
professional world.
9. The Future
In the future I will use these
skills in writing emails, resumes,
memos, and other forms of
correspondence to my superiors.
10. The Future Ctd.
These skills will also be
important in corresponding with
future teachers and professors.
It seems that the more
professional a student is with a
teacher or mentor, the more
seriously the teacher will take
that student.
11. The Future Ctd.
In the future, I will always use
these skills when corresponding
with anyone really. My goal is to
attain future career goals with
the help of seeming professional
over email, mail, fax, as well as in
person.
