Their main projects of Orphanage, Old Age Home, Daycare Centers, and monthly groceries to Elders, cannot ever be stopped. With great difficulty, and by cutting expenses, they could sustain their projects during initial months

Ngo for poor people in kurnool
1. Ngo for poor people in kurnool
Joy Home Orphanage:
The children are orphans, rescued street children found by volunteers, or come
from very poor families or have single parents who cannot give them proper
education and food.
2. Our children call it their home. Indeed we work hard to make it so. After they
have lost so much, they deserve all the security and love any normal home
provides. Orphanage has 2 desktop computers and 1 laptop. The children are
given training in computer skills by a volunteer faculty.
Happy Old Age Home:
At SERUDS Happy Old Age Home, we celebrate all major festivals and encourage
our residents to participate in activities like reading, regular walks, singing
bhajans, and more. We have adopted good practices to provide a healthy,
productive, and participatory life to our elders.
Our Old Age Home is equipped with two bedrooms, a big hall, a hygienic kitchen,
and three toilets. We also have open space for recreation and daily prayers. Our
residents receive nutritious meals three times daily, along with clothes, blankets,
toiletries, and other personal necessities.
Midday Meals for elders:
The growing crisis of elders calls for urgent intervention, but the government with
its limited resources, can make only meager provisions. There is an urgent need
for the private sector and NGOs to help feed destitute elders.
SERUDS is one the leading NGOs which has been feeding them. We need your
support to extend the reach of our mid day meals project
Monthly Groceries for destitute women:
Elderly women who are poor and live alone or with dependent children find them
vulnerable, powerless and are neglected by their family or grown up children.
Many are too old or physically weak and thus unable to find work. They are forced
to beg, and are often homeless.
3. Senior citizens group is projected to comprise 18% per cent of India’s total
population by 2025. There are statutory provisions for maintenance of parents
under Hindu personal law, and similar laws for other religions
