Distribution of LOUD
1. The kind of media institution
that might distribute my
media product and why they
would do this.
2. Dennis Media
• They published blender in India in May 2008.
• As I modelled my magazine LOUD on blender I feel
they could work very well together and as this is
the Indian version of blender it will look good on
the company to have different countries and
cultures for their target audience and because
people will like the fact they cater for different
countries they are more likely to buy the magazine
because then they can say the have bought a
magazine that is aiming to become international
and because people like thinking they have helped
3. Dennis Publishing
• Published blender USA which was first published in
1994.
• I have based LOUD on blender USA which is no longer
around in magazine form at it was stopped when they
decided to create a website to have instead, however i
feel as they likes that style they may like to have a new
magazine with a similar style so they could have am
actual paper magazine again to get the ball rolling and
then possible reintroduce blender at a later date but
use LOUD to promote it and then use the 2 magazines
as a synergy once they reintroduce blender.
4. Prometheus Global Media.
• Billboard was first published on November
1, 1894, and is aimed at music professionals, such
as record label executives, artists and DJ’s. It is
considered a business-to-business magazine but
can be found at many consumer bookstores and
magazine stands. i think this would work well
with LOUD magazine as they are so different and
with the way teenagers use things like social
networking the name LOUD could get well known
which will in turn get Prometheus Global Media
well know meaning Billboards takes off big time
like a synergy effect.
5. IPC media- inspire
• NME distributers- first cope published in March
1952.
• The flexible style of NME shoes distributors are
happy for different or alternate styles and my
magazine is similar enough to NME to fit in with
is but different enough to attract different
readers meaning the publishers can use synergy
within the two magazines to gain a bigger and
broader target audience and convince people to
buy both magazines.
6. Bauer Media Group
• Q magazine first published in
• I think the reason my magazine may also be
distributed by Bauer Media Group Is that
although its still a music magazine its very
different as Q is aimed at ..... Whereas LOUD is
aimed at middle class teenaers-25 your olds but
more specifically 17 year old girls so this would
help the distributors get a wider target audience
and would not mean they are risking losing any of
the buyers they already have for Q.
