True Colors
WHAT COLOR DO YOU
THINK YOU ARE?
ORANGE
ORANGE
 Act on a moment’s notice
 Witty, charming and spontaneous: they consider life as a
game to be played here and now!
 Impulsive, generous and impactful: they need fun,
variety, stimulation and excitement in all aspects of their
lives.
 Optimistic, eager and bold: they value skill,
resourcefulness and courage.
 Physical, immediate and fraternal: they are natural
trouble-shooters, performers and competitors!
ORANGE
 At work: bored and restless with routine and
structure – need independence and freedom!
 In love: seek similar interests and activities with
partner. Also thrive on physical contact and spoil
their loved ones!

their own standards!
 Cool, calm and collected: need explanations and
answers.
 Inventive, logical and perfectionists: value
intelligence, fairness and justice.

conformists, visionaries and problem solvers.
GREEN
 At work: independent thinkers – drawn to constant challenges
in career. Like to leave systems in place to be run and
supported by others.
 In love: head rules over the heart, hate repetition and find it
difficult to express feelings. Uneasy when emotions control
them.
 During childhood: acted much older than their years! Focused
on achieving in subjects that were mentally stimulating.
 Impatient with drill and routine, question authority – need to
respect before they can learn
COMMUNICATION WITH GREEN
 Greens communicate for the purpose of gathering or sharing information. In
conversation, their attentions are focused on the matter at hand, not on the
relationship.
 Tips for success:
 Give them time to think!
 Skip the “small talk.”
 Avoid redundancy.
 Give them the “big picture” point first, then get into details.
 Don’t misinterpret their need for information as interrogation!
 Greens can frustrate others by not being sociable, living in the future, being
wordy, blowing up over criticisms, refusing to go with the flow and being too
independent.
I’M FREAKING OUT!
 When managing their time, Green’s biggest stressors
are:
 Wasting time with idle chit-chat.
 Having to make a decision without enough information.
 Rushing to produce something that will meet another’s
timeline.
 Being forced to spend time on something that does not
make sense to them.
 Greens are frustrated by routine, small talk, plagiarism,
illogical arguments, social functions and incompetence.
Clarifying the topic…
 There is no “one size fits all” that puts every single
personality into a box! Every person reacts to
situations in their own way. It’s important to still get to
know your peers as individuals!
 Similarly, everyone acts differently in separate
environments! You may be a Gold at work and a
Blue at home! It’s perfectly normal…
