Sherein Saied Abdelgayed was received the B. Sc.degree in veterinary medicine from Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt, in 1994. She joined the Department of Pathology, Faculty of veterinary medicine, Cairo University as a Demonstrator in 1995. In 1999, she got the M.Sc.degree and became an assistant lecturer of Pathology till 2004 when she received the Ph.D. degree and became a lecturer of Pathology. She is currently a Professor of Pathology,Faculty of Veterinary medicine, Egypt.
