ShesConnected Conference will be hosting 5 twitter
parties to generate buzz for the event.
Pre-event parties to generate buzz

– Date: August 25th, 2011 Time: 8:00pm – 10:00pm
Event party (generate buzz at the event and to include women
who where not invited or who could not attend)
– Date: September 29th, 2011 Time: 1:00pm - 5:00pm
– Date: September 30th ,2011 Time: 10:00am -5:00pm
Post event party (to continue the conversation)
– Date: October 13th,2011 Time: 8:00pm-10:00pm

10. What is a Twitter Party?
• A short, fast-paced conversation around a pre-determined
topic using the twitter platform.
• The party often begins with a question from a facilitator. From
there, users post a frenzy of comments and responses using
#hashtags (or keywords) to connect all content within the
conversation.
• During the parties, brand sponsors provide tips, techniques,
expert advice, and information on party topics
• These parties are entertaining, informative and interactive for
both the guests and the host.

14. Incentives/Prizing
The Prize
Each sponsor will provide some type of prizing which will be
promoted prior to each party. We tie in your marketing messages
to the party and your prize. We can also drive the participants to
your twitter, facebook or website to drive follows, likes or traffic!
Just let us know your marketing objectives.

‘Guests’ will post comments through twitter All posts are to
include the hashtags #SCCTO so that they are trackable.
You may not be used to this type of participation but once you
experience your first twitter party we guarantee you will be ready
to participate in the next scheduled one.

TweetGrid allows users to view
content in three sections: all
content, host content, and the
user’s personal content.
Without TweetGrid, users will
have difficulty following the
stream of the party.

21. Do sponsors participate?
Absolutely. In fact, Sponsors are encouraged to join the party in order to interact
directly with the individuals who are interested in attending the event.
By joining the party and cooperatively promoting the ShesConnected
Conference, sponsors are able to leverage the network reach and increase their
brand visibility.
Sponsors can tweet questions and start conversations or simply retweet relevant
content. The level of engagement by the sponsor will directly impact interaction
with their brand. We will follow a conversation schedule for each party.
