The Maltese Falcon is the second largest privately owned sailing yacht in the world. It is 289 feet long and was built by Italian shipbuilder Perini Navi. Powered by two 1,800 hp engines, it can reach speeds of 20 knots. The yacht has 15 sails and belongs to venture capitalist Tom Perkins, costing $100 million to build. It has accommodations for up to six guests across multiple staterooms and suites.
