Great Start Tuscola's Parent Coalition is inviting parents, childcare providers, preschool teachers, and community members to an early preschool literacy event on October 13, 2011 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Tuscola Technology Center Commons Room. The event will focus on early literacy skills, inform attendees about kindergarten expectations, provide resources to encourage children to read, and strengthen parents' skills. Attendees need to register by calling or emailing the contact with the number of adults and children attending as well as the children's ages.
