2. What Do Social Workers Do?
Social Workers provide social services and assistance to
improve the social and psychological functioning of
children find a better home. They go to schools and they
address such problems as teenage pregnancy,
misbehavior, and truancy. A social worker have to be able
to notice when problem happen. Listen and understand
what people have today. Social workers also have to look
for ways to help people.
3. Entry-Level Education
In order to be a Social Worker you must have a Bachelor’s Degree.
Clinical Social Worker’s must have a Master’s Degree.

There were approximately 650,000 number of jobs in 2010.
6. Job Outlook From 2010-2020
Expected to grow 25% faster. Which means more people are going
to get a Social Worker job.

9. How To Become A Social Worker
A bachelors degree is required for social work positions. Some
positions require a masters degree. Licensure varies by state. All
clinical social workers must be licensed. You must also have the
important qualities of a social worker which are: compassion,
listening skills, organizational skills, people skills, problem-
solving skills, and time-management skills.
12. Why You Choose That Career
I want to be a Social Worker because I would be happy knowing that
I have made a difference in a child's life. I want to play a part in
helping out people and understanding how they feel. Helping others
make a positive change in their life. With social work I believe I can
achieve this.
